  • October Vault Print- Capuchina

    October Vault Print is Capuchina!

I painted "Capuchina" for my 2017 Submerged solo exhibition collection at Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome after being inspired by the Capuchin Monks and crypt in Italy. I got to visit this amazing place where being surrounded by death wasn't scary- it was honored, and beautiful in its own way. So I made Capuchina to reflect that death doesn't have to be this morbid thing we're afraid of, it's as much a part of our lives as the colors of the rainbow.
